Authorities have issued an arrest warrant for a central Iowa man accused of hitting a pedestrian with a snowmobile last month.
The Jasper County Sheriff's Department is looking for Jacob Reed of Mingo. Reed was identified as the driver of a snowmobile that struck a male pedestrian on the outskirts of town on December 27th. The unidentified pedestrian was found lying on the side of the road around 10:40 p.m. with severe injuries.
Deputies found the snowmobile later that night and traced it to Reed.
