Volunteers with a national asset management group will help plant more than 50 apple trees at Boys Town this weekend.
Industrial Asset Management Council volunteers will take a break from an Omaha conference on Saturday and Sunday to plant the trees.
The service project was made possible by the group's joint partnership with the Arbor Day Foundation and ReTree Nebraska through a grant funded by the Nebraska Environmental Trust, which donated the trees.
Boys Town Director of Community Programs Thomas Lynch says the apples produced by those trees will be enjoyed by Boys Town students for years to come.
The Industrial Asset Management Council is considered the leading national association of industrial asset management executives, corporate real estate executives and economic developers.
