Vinyl continues making strides with a new generation of music lovers.
Record store owners say the interest in vinyl recordings is jumping through the roof.
Brad Smith, with Almost Music, said, “For the kids that have grown up with just CDs or mp3s especially, it's a new experience. It's something that's kind of their own to have, 15 or 16-year-old kids discovering about it from their parents. Their parents are bringing them in, they're getting their first turntable and starting their record collection. It's neat."
Some of the old vinyl records are true collector items. You might want to check your list. Some old albums could be worth thousands of dollars.
