Those affected by the tragic and sudden death of an Omaha boy this week have organized a candlelight vigil in his honor.
Six-year-old Jack Knight is described as a loving, energetic and robust boy by those who knew him. His mother found him Tuesday morning in his bed, unresponsive and unconscious.
In an effort to help comfort the family, students and friends of Jack are planning to gather at 6:30 p.m. Saturday outside the Knight home.
“It was really hard to deal with, it was just more shocking than anything,” said family friend Nicole Looney. “I just can't imagine something like that happening, especially since Jack was such a happy little boy."
