A man is recovering from non-life threatening injuries at Alegent Creighton Medical Center after being shot in South Omaha Tuesday morning.
Shortly before 12:30 a.m., officers were in the area to investigate a noise complaint and gunfire rang out. They rushed to a home near 22nd and S Street and found 32-year-old Mike Marquez suffering from gunshot wounds to both legs.
Officers told WOWT 6 News Marquez and suspect were acquaintances and got into an argument before the shots were fired. Officers say they know who the suspect is, but that person has not been located at this time.
