Omaha Police have identified the victim of a Wednesday morning shooting as 49-year-old Theonis Jacobs. He was critically injured but he was listed in stable condition Wednesday afternoon.
The shooting happened shortly after 2:30 a.m. at 44th and Redman.
Officers responded to a report of a shooting there and found Jacobs. He was transported to the Nebraska Medical Center for treatment.
Investigators say two suspects had approached him and shot him.
Authorities are trying to identify suspects in the case.
