An exhibit entitled, “Remembering Our Fallen” is now on display at Omaha's Midtown Crossing.
Organizers describe this featured display as “an emotional reminder of the ultimate sacrifice made by the 81 Nebraskans killed in The War on Terror while wearing our country’s uniform in Afghanistan or Iraq.”
The window display will be setup at 6109 and 6110 Farnam Street, next to Three Dog Bakery and Marcus Midtown Cinema from June 14th to July 2nd.
There is no charge to view this public display. Visitors are encouraged to leave notes and mementos for the fallen. “Remembering our Fallen” was created by Bill and Evonne Williams of Patriotic Productions in Omaha. More information is available at www.rememberingourfallen.org.
“We can never forget those who sacrificed everything for our freedom. We must remember these American heroes and speak their names when we see their family members,” said Bill Williams, exhibit co-creator. “This exhibit is created so it can travel easily throughout Nebraska so that more people will have the opportunity to honor and remember Nebraska’s fallen.”
