Unlimited data plans may be a thing of the past for Verizon Wireless customers.
Verizon plans to get rid of unlimited data plans it provided customers who had it before the carrier introduced tiered pricing.
The company is expanding the latest generation of its network...called 4G LTE.
This means customers wanting to upgrade phones to 4G LTE will be required to sign on to Verizon's new data-share plan.
The new plan will provide a limited bucket of data...that can be shared among family members or devices.
