Verizon Wireless is adding more than 100 full-time positions by July 31 at its Customer Service Center located at 4600 Innovation Drive in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Interested candidates should apply online by visiting the Verizon Wireless website at vzwcareers.com. Currently, qualified applicants are being offered a $1,000 signing bonus.
The company recently hired 17 new employees and plans monthly classes of 30 on May 13, June 10 and July 8. Applications should be submitted online three weeks before each new hire class begins, meaning April 28 is the application deadline to be considered for the May 13 hiring class.
“We are looking for energetic individuals with great people skills – whether that experience is in a retail environment or other position – to help us provide a great customer experience,” said Melvin Flippin, director of the Lincoln Verizon Wireless Customer Service Center.
The new positions offer competitive salaries and benefits, including health care coverage that begins on the first day of employment and participation in the company's 401 (k) program with a dollar-for-dollar match of up to six percent of an employee's salary contribution.
Verizon employees also can take advantage of tuition reimbursement and adoptions assistance and bonuses. The Lincoln center also offers on-site college courses, education study rooms, dining facilities and a state-of-the-art fitness center staffed with personal trainers.

The Lincoln Verizon Customer Service Center currently has 481 customer service employees who manage incoming calls with customer questions and also provide advanced technical support. Total employees at the center are nearly 500.
