Two vehicles parked on an Omaha street were damaged Saturday morning by some sort of explosive device.
Police in the area of Park and Woolworth avenues heard the blast and saw a bright flash in the sky near Hanscom Park just after 3 a.m. It appeared the explosive device was detonated on the windshield of a pickup, causing a hole in the glass and damaging the dashboard. An adjacent vehicle was also damaged.
The OPD Bomb Squad was called to the scene to investigate.
