A Lincoln mother has been cited for DUI and willful reckless driving following a rollover crash Tuesday night. Thirty-three-year-old Amanda Henson was driving in the wrong direction on a closed, one-way street with her 7-month-old boy in the car.
Police suspect Henson huffed compressed air shortly before hitting construction equipment at 17th and Garfield streets around 10:30 p.m. A witness reported seeing Henson exit the vehicle following the accident and hiding a white bag near a construction trailer. Inside the bag, officers found a can of Ultra Duster compressed air.
Henson and her son were hospitalized for injuries not considered to be life threatening.
