When a man returned home after nearly two weeks, he discovered some vandals paid a visit. The damage is described as substantial. Someone turned on all of the faucets in Jonathan Woltemath’s home and blocked the drains.
The water flowed onto the floor and made its way to the basement. Gage County investigators say based on the amount of water in the basement, it is clear that the water was left on for a very long time. The address of the home is 202 Nichols Street in Pickrell, Nebraska.
Investigators have determined that the vandals struck sometime after September 8 and before September 20 when Woltemath came home. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call the Gage County Sheriff at (402) 223-5221 or the Gage County Crime Stoppers at (402) 228-4343.
