Sometime Thursday night or Friday morning, someone caused $50,000 in damage to Calvary Cemetery at 40th & O Streets.
Lincoln Police said someone slipped the lock to the maintenance building and used paint to damage furniture and sprayed vulgar language throughout interior of the building. A sledge hammer was also used to access to a locked office.
Police said two sinks were plugged with water and turned on to cause overflow and flooding throughout the building.
The only thing reported missing is a five-gallon can of gasoline. There are no suspects at this time.
