Police are investigating the decapitation of a cat during an apparent break-in at a Cedar Rapids, Iowa house.
A friend of the homeowners found the dead cat on the floor of a bedroom. While nothing appeared to be missing from the house, graffiti had been scribbled on the walls.
The homeowners weren't currently living in the house, although the cat was still there. The friend had been caring for it.
