A surprising number of cell phone users actually spend more on that bill than they do on groceries each month. That, according to a new study released by CouponCabin.com.
The online coupon finding and printing website conducted a survey in anticipation of the release of Apple's latest smart phone rumored to come Wednesday. It's a busy time for other phone makers, too, with many new models expected to debut this season.
Of cell phone users surveyed, more than half said they spend $100 or more, monthly, for service. For one in five, their cell phone bill is twice what their groceries cost each month. And for 33-percent, their mobile phone service costs more than basic utilities.
