An Elkhorn skateboarder who went through a stop sign and hit a car Tuesday night remained hospitalized in good condition Wednesday, treated for a skull fracture.
Police said 16-year-old Alex Todalen was riding his skateboard just before 7 p.m. when he struck a northbound vehicle at 211th and Appaloosa Drive.
Todalen was ticketed for failure to yield right of way to a motor vehicle. The driver will not be cited.
