One of the Omaha teenagers shot Wednesday afternoon has died. Police said Thursday that the shooting death of 16-year-old Trevaughn Hubbard at North 44th and Evans and the wounding of another teen minutes later and a mile away appear to be related.

"I just kept telling him keep your eyes open, just look at me, you're going to be okay," said Andrea Hillworth. "I started to pray for him and then the ambulance came and they shooed me away."

Witnesses said they saw a green SUV with a broken back window leaving the scene and heading north on 44th Avenue just before 3:30 p.m.

Another teen was then shot at North 47th and Meredith just after 3:30 p.m. Fifteen-year-old Calvin Cotton Jr. was taken to Creighton University Medical Center in critical condition.

A green SUV was found at the scene.
