We are learning new details about a crash in western Nebraska last Sunday that killed four family members.
Investigators a truck driver failed to slow down when he came upon stopped traffic on Interstate 80 near Sidney due to an accident.
The four killed were in two different cars. One car was following the other as a family was moving across the country. Dianna Smith, who was seven months pregnant, and her sons Samuel and Connor were killed in one car. Her husband Christopher, who was in the other car, was also killed. They were moving from Washington, D.C. back to the West Coast where they were originally from.
Truck driver Josef Slezak of River Grove, Illinois has been charged with four counts of manslaughter. He told investigators he never heard the warnings about the stopped traffic/accident because his CB radio was not on. That accident claimed the life of truck driver, 27-year-old Keith Johnson of Big Lake, Minnesota. His semi had hit a stalled truck.
