Police Say Columbus Homicide Victim Resisted Robbery

Police say a Columbus, Nebraska man was stabbed to death when he resisted an armed robbery.

Three people went to the home of 51-year-old Steven Jorgensen on May 18th intending to rob him, but the robbery turned violent and Jorgensen resisted. He was then stabbed multiple times with a knife.

Two suspects, 26-year-old Quentin Critser and 31-year-old Kimberly Henderson, were arrested Wednesday and charged with first-degree murder. A third suspect, 30-year-old Eric Henry, also faces charges in the case. He is currently in the Butler County Jail on unrelated charges.
