Bond was set Thursday at 10 percent of $45,000 for Larry Snoddy, the man police are calling the “Dundee Flasher.”

The 23-year-old Snoddy faces two counts of lewd conduct and one count of misdemeanor assault. Police said he was wanted for several incidents of exposing himself in and around the Dundee neighborhood over the past few months.

Snoddy spent three months in prison last year after pleading guilty to lewd conduct.

In this latest case, a woman said a man flashed her in the produce section at the Baker's supermarket at Saddle Creek and Leavenworth in August around 10:30 a.m. When her husband tried to stop him from leaving the store, the suspect punched him in the face and got away. Another incident took place in mid-October at 49th and California around 11:30 p.m.

Those in Dundee can thank bartender Ben Dolan for the big break. "I just did what I was supposed to do," said Dolan. He noticed a suspicious person in the Beer & Loathing bar at 50th and Underwood Avenue two months ago. His suspicion was only heightened later when detectives going door-to-door had a similar description.

"I just knew it was him, you know," said Dolan, who then spotted the suspect at the Dundee CVS Pharmacy last Saturday. "I kind of looked back at him to make sure and I was kind of panicked a little bit. Got my stuff, went outside and called the cops."

The investigation is ongoing to determine if more charges might be brought against Snoddy.
