Update: Bond Set For Man Charged In Shooting Of 6-Year-Old Girl

Police have made a second arrest in the June shooting of a 6-year-old Omaha girl during her birthday party. On Tuesday, he appeared in court and his bond was set at $1 million.

Twenty-year-old Willie Strickland was arrested and charged with weapons charges in relation to the shooting. He could face up to 50 years in prison for each count.

Twenty-six-year-old Eddie Poe III was booked back in June as an accessory to a felony in connection with the shooting.

Fentress was at a family friend's house at 41st and Ida and wounded by a stray bullet that went through a screen door and passed through her cheek and nose. Her mother tells WOWT 6 News she'll have to undergo more surgeries in the future to remove bullet fragments from her skin.
