An Omaha man accused of stabbing another man to death has been denied bond.
Twenty-one-year-old Cedric Hatten faces charges of second-degree murder and use of a weapon to commit a felony.
He's accused of assaulting 74-year-old Paul Riederer near South 27th Street and St. Marys Avenue just after midnight on August 20th. Riederer told police he had been involved in a confrontation with two people.
He was taken to Alegent Creighton University Medical Center for treatment. Riederer's condition deteriorated after he reached the hospital and he died later that morning.
