A remodeled bakery will host Opera Omaha’s sneak preview of Agrippina. The historic Omar Building will serve as the backdrop.
Fans who paid $250 and up for a dinner seat will be treated to a unique production happening all around them.
Designers flew in from California to set up the presentation.
Cameron Mock is one of them and he says, “All the screens we're hanging right now will be projected upon. We're really transforming this place into a theatrical event that everyone invited to the gala can be immersed in."
After the gala Saturday night, the sets and performers will move to the Orpheum Theater. The curtain goes up on the opera February 14th.
