The Cassgram reports Cass County’s July rate was one-tenth of a percentage point lower than June’s (revised) rate. (The rate was at 4.3% in May, 4.6% in April, and 4.9% in March.)
The county unemployment was at 5.1% in July of 2012.

Nebraska’s preliminary unemployment rate for July was 4.2%, up two-tenths of a percentage point from June. The July 2012 state unemployment rate was 4.0%.
The national unemployment rate in July was 7.4%, down two-tenths of a percentage point from June. The July 2012 national unemployment rate was 8.2%.
