Railroad fans can now buy merchandise marking Union Pacific's 150th anniversary.

The Omaha-based railroad is celebrating its 150th birthday in 2012. The railroad was created when President Abraham Lincoln signed the Pacific Railway Act in 1862.

The railroad is offering more than 50 items in its online anniversary store at www.up150.com . Those include railroad wall clocks, shirts and locomotive-shaped cookie jars.

More items will be added during the year.

Union Pacific is the nation's largest railroad and operates 32,400 miles of track in 23 states from the Midwest to the West and
Gulf coasts.
