The goal is to see who can collect the most school supplies for needy children through the Salvation Army’s “Back to School” program.
Creighton’s goal is 5,000 rulers, UNO’s goal is 5,000 colored marker packs, and since they are a smaller campus, CSM’s goal was originally 2,500 erasers.
However, CSM did not accept concessions because they are a smaller school – and the Staff Development Committee at CSM has challenged the campus community to collect 5,000 erasers.
Erasers (and money to purchase erasers) are being collected through May 6 – with all of the items being presented to the Salvation Army on May 19.
