A UNL student was arrested Saturday morning for allegedly assaulting a campus police officer asking why the student was covered in blood.
Twenty-year-old Adam Biodroski was spotted near the International Affairs Building around 1:30 a.m. When the officer confronted him, police said Biodrowski became aggressive and combative. He assaulted the officer and resisted arrest during the altercation before being placed into custody.
Biodrowski was treated and released for the bloody nose he had prior to being approached by the officer. Biodrowski was jailed for third-degree assault of a peace officer and cited for obstructing a peace officer and resisting arrest.
