Two people were seriously injured in a late-night crash near the Omaha riverfront Sunday night.
Just before 10 p.m., a Cadillac Escalade was going east along Abbott Drive when it left the road at Gallup Drive and struck a light pole.
The driver, 44-year-old Salvador Flores-Miro and a passenger, 46-year-old Lucia Flores-Cortes were injured. Police say neither were wearing their seatbelts. They're both recovering at the Nebraska Medical Center.
Officers also say speed is a factor in the crash, so charges against Flores-Miro are pending.
