Update: Two People Injured After Morning Crash

According to Omaha police, two people were injured Tuesday morning when the stolen car they were riding in struck a pole near 45th and Pinkney.

Officer Michael Pecha tells Newsradio 1110 KFAB the stolen car was speeding northbound on 45th around 8:00 a.m. when the driver lost control and slammed into the pole.

The driver was located outside the vehicle and the passenger was trapped inside when police arrived on scene.

Police believe the vehicle was stolen earlier Tuesday morning.

Both the driver and passenger were taken to the Nebraska Medical Center and are listed in serious condition.
