Some people have guilt about eating so much on Thanksgiving, so they started burning calories early, running in the cold.
Once again, the Joslyn Castle Turkey Trot took over the streets of Midtown Crossing Thursday. Both young and old took part in the 5K walk/run. We found what may have been the event’s youngest participant tailing behind mom, crossing the finish line.
Reporter asked, "When you crossed the finish line, what did you think?" "I did good,” Macie McCool said. "It's kind of a whole group of us, we just moved here from Texas, we were so proud of ourselves for getting out in the freezing cold, we've got our ski clothes on but we did it,” mom Danielle said. Reporter asked, "Is that going to make the turkey taste better?" "Absolutely."
The event wrapped up around 10 o’clock Thursday, just in time for brunch.
