A trial has been delayed for a northeast Nebraska woman accused of concealing her husband's death.
Sixty-four-year-old Jeanne Fry, of Madison, has pleaded not guilty to a felony charge of concealing human remains.
Her trial had been set for March 5.
Radio station KNEN reports Madison County District Judge James Kube on Monday granted a motion from Fry's attorney to waive Fry's right to a speedy trial. Monday's pretrial hearing was continued to March 26. A new trial date has not been set.
Fry was arrested in November after the decomposing body of her 63-year-old husband, Jack, was found under a blanket in their camper at a Madison campground.
He was reported missing in August by a relative. Investigators think he had been dead for months.
