Trial delayed for woman accused of a felony for possessing stolen money. 31-year-old Brandi Coen’s trial was moved from next week’s jury panel to the August 6th docket. The judge granted the defense request for a continuance as the prosecution had no objection.
The Cassgram reports that means Coen’s trial is now on the same docket as her estranged husband’s trial. Gabriel Coen is facing the same charge.
Both are accused of possessing money stolen in the Sac Federal Credit Union armed robbery last December.
One other man, 21-year-old Caleb Searcy, has pleaded guilty and is serving a 4 to 8 year sentence in the Nebraska Department of Corrections for possessing money stolen in the robbery.
