The Salvation Army’s Tree of Lights Campaign remains in need of the community’s support to meet its $3.1 million goal to help support more than 20 programs including mobile feeding, shelter, disaster relief, food pantry, youth services and counseling.
As of January 7, 2013, $2,865,492 has been donated to the Tree of Lights Campaign. Donations to the red kettles, a significant portion of the overall campaign, met and exceeded the goal.
The Salvation Army is grateful to the community for donating generously.
There is still time to give to the Tree of Lights Campaign, which has been extended into January.
A $10 donation can be made by texting “OMAHA” to 80888, message and data rates may apply.
100% of every dollar donated stays in Omaha to help an average of 170,000 people annually.
