A large tree is being blamed for an outage that left some 1,200 people without power Wednesday morning.
According to OPPD, the outage impacted 1,272 customers who live within the rough boundaries of Marcy St. to the north, Wright St. to the south, 40th St. to the west and 32nd St. to the east.
Outage reports started coming in around 7:30 a.m. OPPD said crews were sent to 35th and Mason, where tree limbs were tangled in the wires. Those limbs are being cut down.
Officials expect power to be fully restored by 11 a.m.
