Train Hits Semi Near Crete
No injuries have been reported from the crash of a train into a tractor-trailer in southeast Nebraska.
The Saline County Sheriff's Office says deputies were dispatched a little after 10:30 a.m. Thursday to a private drive off Nebraska Highway 33 near Crete.
Deputies say the tractor-trailer driven by Steven Malik was crossing the tracks when it was struck by the westbound train. Malik wasn't injured.
It's unclear whether the crossing was marked.
