Driving through Omaha along Interstate 80 should be smooth sailing this weekend, unless you’re traveling late at night.
The Nebraska Department of Roads is planning to close the 72nd Street entrance ramp and loop to westbound I-80 and the westbound I-80 ramp to 84th Street Friday and Saturday from 10 p.m. until 7 a.m. They will also be closed Monday from 8 p.m. until 6 a.m.
There will also be multiple lane closures for westbound I-80 traffic between 72nd Street and 84th Street.
Crews will be making pavement repairs in the affected areas.
