Police caught up with a pair of hit-and-run suspects Monday when they took their car off the road. That’s when the investigation took a strange turn.
The scene unfolded near Washington and Crest in Papillion. Police say a woman hit a car, took off and then crashed into a retaining wall.
She was hospitalized. Her passenger was taken away in handcuffs.
The woman told police she had been sexually assaulted by the man and was trying to get away.
