They make a significant impact on our community by preventing families and veterans from becoming homeless. Together Omaha announced plans for a new headquarters.
It will be located near 24th and Leavenworth. As a homeless prevention agency, together supplies food, rent and utility assistance to the greater Omaha area.
"Our current facility at 16th and Cass has served us well for 15 years but with the increased need in the community an increased need for our services we have outgrown it," said Together Omaha Executive Director Mike Hornacek.
It's a 2.3 million dollar project, funded by donors and supporters. It's expected to be completed by Thanksgiving.
