Here’s a little jump on the colors of spring. UNO students are just a week away from spring break and they’re kicking off the occasion with some wardrobe renovation.
UNO's Student Event's group, Maverick Productions, held a tie dye shirt making session at the campus' Pep Bowl.
Students, faculty, and staff were all invited to come by and make their own shirts.
Organizers say it's just something to get everyone in the spring break spirit.
One of those organizers told us, "It's something practical that you can wear. You kind of just throw it on. It's cute. It's something that you made, with your creativity. It's on that shirt."
Maverick productions gave out 300 t-shirts Tuesday.
