Police released new information overnight about a crash at 42nd and H streets.
Two people have died, and police say speed and alcohol were factors.
It happened shortly before 10:00 Sunday night.
Police say 27-year-old Victor Rodriguez was driving south on 42nd street when he lost control of his Nissan Pathfinder and hit a GMC Yukon head-on.
The passenger in his vehicle, 24-year-old Manuel Santos-Gomez,was killed.
There were five people in the Yukon. The passenger, 22-year-old Danny Alcantara, died from his injuries. The other four people in the vehicle were treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
After the crash, Rodriguez ran. Police found him at his home a little later. He was taken to Creighton University Medical Center to be treated for injuries he suffered in the crash. Police say once he's released, he'll be taken into custody and charged with two counts of criminal homicide.
