Serious crash on highway 75 south of the metro Wednesday night.
The Cassgram reportsThe law enforcement report with the names of those involved and how the accident occurred was not available yet. But from information Cassgram has been able to gather, four people were taken to hospitals by rescue squads from Murray and Plattsmouth. Two people were trapped in two of the vehicles and it took emergency responders over 20 minutes to extricate them. At least one victim was taken to the trauma center in serious or critical condition.
Police scanner and fire department reports indicated at least three vehicles were involved in the crash near Wiles Road. Three vehicles were damaged beyond repair. (Pictures of the vehicles involved in the crash are available on the Facebook page of the Plattsmouth Volunteer Fire Department.)
The 911 report came in at 6:47pm. The highway was closed as the injured were attended to and the accident scene was investigated.
