Omaha police responded to three separate armed robberies, Sunday, in a little less than six hours.
The first robbery occurred at the Kum & Go, near 89th and Boyd, around 2:45 a.m. Sunday. The clerk told police three men came in, showed a gun, and demanded money from the register. All three robbers were last seen leaving the area on foot.
Just before 7:30 a.m. another robbery call came in; this one was at Buck's 66 at 44th and L Street. The owner said two men came in and demanded cash. They were armed with a gun. The men were last seen leaving the area on foot.
The final armed robbery call came in about an hour later at Walgreens on North 30th Street. An employee reported two men brought merchandise to the register, as if they were going to make a purchase, but instead pulled out a gun and demanded cash. Once again, the robbers were last seen leaving the area on foot.
