Lincoln police have named the three people who were attacked in a shooting and stabbing Wednesday morning.
Police say it started around 2:30 a.m. when a fight broke out outside a social hall at 10th and Charleston where a holiday party was being held.
Twenty-five-year-old Majok Riak was shot multiple times while 20-year-old Dian Domach and 20-year-old Ruachkuoth Thok were stabbed. The victims were initially said to have life-threatening injuries, but they were upgraded Wednesday night to non life-threatening injuries.
"At this time we do not know what prompted the fight," said LPD Officer Katie Flood. "We are still conducting interviews and investigators are at the scene. Part of 10th Street will be blocked off today as investigators gather evidence from the street. Apparently, the fight happened inside as well as outside the facility."
Police say they have no suspects at this time. Witnesses say there were members of rival gangs at the holiday party. All three victims have a long criminal history.
