Update: Three Killed In Icy Conditions

Authorities have identified the three people killed in a crash after a 14-year-old driver lost control of a vehicle on an icy road Thursday morning near Maxwell, Nebraska, east of North Platte.

The Lincoln County Sheriff's Department says 14-year-old Conner Gentry and his 10-year-old brother Colton Gentry were both killed when their SUV slid into oncoming traffic, striking a westbound car on U.S. Highway 30. Conner was driving legally on a school permit.

The sheriff's office says 45-year-old Elaine Grasz also died in the crash. She was a passenger in the sedan that was hit.

Bystanders helped pull the car's driver, 46-year-old Terry Grasz, Elaine's husband, from the vehicle. He was severely burned because both vehicles caught fire. Terry was flown to a Lincoln hospital in critical condition.
