Officers also found more than $2,000 in cash between the driver, 19-year-old Latjor Gony, and passenger, 23-year-old Aki Awou. Both are convicted felons and now face charges of possession of a defaced firearm, possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of a controlled substance, possession of a controlled substance with intent to deliver and possession of a firearm during a drug violation.
The girl was cited for possession of a defaced firearm and turned over to her mother. The other passenger is still being sought.
