A 16-year-old boy was arrested Friday on suspicion of making terroristic threats after police say he acknowledged writing a threat on a wall at Spencer High School in northwest Iowa.
The teen was later released to his parents. The case has been referred to juvenile probation authorities.
The school dismissed classes early Thursday afternoon after the message was discovered in a restroom. Law enforcement, school staff and fire personnel searched the school, but no danger was found.
