Crooks hit a Northwest Omaha Church, stealing one air conditioning unit and damaging two others.
According to Omaha Police reports, an intrusion alarm surrounding the air conditioning unit was sounding just after 4am on Sunday August 10th at Lord Of Love Lutheran Church near 104th & Fort Streets.
Officers met a church caretaker at the site and discovered a chain link fence had been cut open and one of the AC units was stolen and two others were dismantled.
The three Lennox AC units are worth an estimated $30,000.
The caretaker told police the church last had problems 10-15 years ago.
