A Heartland man's self installed security alarm notifies him that someone was in his rented storage facility in downtown Omaha.
A call to police quickly confirms that someone broke into the building in the area of 10th and Pacific but were apparently scared off before they could do much damage or take anything.
According to the police report when the renter arrived on scene he confirmed his 1949 Pullman Sleeper, which he is restoring, was undamaged.
The does not indicate how the burglars entered the building but it does list one metal bracket valued at $5 as the only damage to the building
