One of the two men arrested in Council Bluffs earlier this year accused in a string of car thefts and burglaries across four counties is facing prison.
Andrew Arrick took a plea deal in May. He’s been sentenced to 10 years in prison and ordered to pay fines and pay restitution.
His brother, Sean Arrick, is scheduled for trial in August.
Pottawattamie, Shelby, and Crawford counties in Iowa and Colfax County in Nebraska shared information with each other that led the Pottawattamie County Sheriff's Department to a stolen truck in the suspects’ driveway. It matched the description of one stolen in Crawford County.
When investigators moved in, they also found a ‘97 Chevy Pickup, and a ‘36 Pontiac Coupe street rod, already chopped for parts. They also found other parts they believe came from stolen vehicles.
The men were charged with several crimes in each county.
