Lincoln police arrested a man Wednesday for the theft of an ATM last week.
Thirty-four-year-old Gabriel Muratella allegedly used a forklift to uproot an ATM from the Cornhusker Bank near 56th and South streets last Thursday. It was found Wednesday in a vacant storage bin. The machine itself is valued at $34,000 and had an unknown amount of cash inside.
Witnesses gave police information that led to Muratella's arrest. He was jailed for felony theft by possessing/receiving stolen property and seven outstanding warrants.
